The Inca Trail is in Peru and takes approximately four days to walk and ends with Macchu Picchu, the ancient Incan civilisation, a stunning ruin of grey architecture atop a mountain often shrouded in cloud. Along the route you can discover some stunning flora and fauna and traverse some truly beautiful land. The Inca Trail combines jaw-dropping scenery, lush cloudforest, sub-tropical jungle and a mix of Inca ruins. As well as the ancient Inca Trail trek, we offer a variety of other tour options, all providing incredible experiences high up in the Peruvian Andes.
This is the ancient border which roughly divided Scotland from England. It was actually established in order to keep the Picts, a cult north of the wall, from entering England. Although much of the wall has crumbled, there remain patches where it is visible as well as a number of ancient forts and buildings along the way. The English Heritage has a number of information centres on the path to keep you informed about the history.
